David Lloyd Clubs has unveiled a new series of women’s health initiatives, created to empower women to feel strong, supported and confident through every stage of life. From expert-led seminars covering periods, fertility and menopause, to dynamic pre- and post-natal group exercise classes, the programme showcases David Lloyd Clubs’ ongoing commitment to championing women’s health, whilst breaking down long-standing misconceptions around female wellbeing and fitness.
The new Women’s Health Seminars will be hosted by in-club expert Female Health Leads, who will guide members through key topics such as menstrual cycles, fertility, perimenopause and menopause. Each session is designed to empower women with knowledge, practical tools and open discussions in a supportive environment. Members can book seminars directly through the David Lloyd Clubs app.
In addition, the health and wellness group is expanding its tailored group exercise offerings, with new pre and post-natal classes. This includes a refreshed take on its popular outdoor class BATLLEBOX, with new ‘BATTLEBOX & BUGGIES’. This bootcamp style class allows new and expectant parents to meet new friends and enjoy outdoor functional training safely and effectively. David Lloyd Clubs’ much-loved SPIRIT class has also been reimagined for pre- and post-natal members, blending yoga, pilates and meditation to support mindful movement and gentle recovery.
Beyond fitness, David Lloyd Clubs continues to provide holistic wellbeing spaces to support women in resting, recharging and reconnecting, whether through relaxing in the spa, meeting friends for brunch in the Clubroom or trying out a fun new racquet sport such as Padel.
Michelle Dand, Head of Product & Programming at David Lloyd Clubs, said:
“We believe in supporting every stage of our members’ wellbeing journey. Our new women’s health programme is about so much more than exercise; it’s about creating a safe, uplifting environment where women can thrive both physically and emotionally, whatever life stage they’re in.”
As part of its broader commitment to advancing women’s health, David Lloyd Clubs was proud to be the headline sponsor of the Active Pregnancy Foundation Awards 2025, celebrating the people and programmes that help women stay active throughout pregnancy and beyond.
With thoughtful movement, expert guidance and a focus on genuine connection, David Lloyd Clubs continues to set a new standard in women’s wellbeing experiences.
