Train to run a mile or a marathon. Start your weight loss journey or finesse your form and technique. Whatever your goals, our expert personal trainers (PTs) are on hand to encourage, motivate and inspire you.
Everyone’s health and fitness goals are different. That’s why at David Lloyd Clubs, no two fitness programmes are the same. Maybe you want to train for a triathlon, learn how to do a pull up or build muscle after an injury.
Your PT will listen and work closely with you to understand how best to support you. Then, they’ll create a training programme that is unique to you, with realistic and achievable goals so you can track your progress and stay motivated. And they’ll keep updating the plan as you progress.
You’ll have access to:
Our world-class facilities provide the perfect backdrop for your workout. Find all the latest equipment, a friendly atmosphere and ample space to exercise in.
Working with a PT can help you stay consistent and accountable while reaching your goals. They can teach you new skills, enhance existing ones or provide some structure for your workouts. PTs offer guidance and encouragement, as well as advice for correcting form, preventing injuries and how to train for specific activities.
We invest in the best – not only in our equipment and facilities, but more importantly, our people. All our PTs are highly trained and some have specialisms, like pre or post natal exercise, weight loss and recovering from injuries.
We pride ourselves on employing an empathetic and approachable team of PTs. Our friendly trainers will modify their teaching styles for you, too. So, if you prefer tough love or a gentler approach to keep you motivated, just let them know.
Your first consultation is dedicated to understanding where you are right now. We use cutting edge technology like our Body Hub analysis machines to gather data on everything from your hydration levels and muscle mass to weight and 'Bioage'.
Your personal trainer will then feed your results into your training plan. That means your programme, as well as targets and trackable milestones, won't just be built around your goals, but what your body needs, too.
You’ll be spending a lot of time with your PT, so it’s worth finding one who suits you. All our PTs are compassionate and encouraging. But if you can find one that matches your sense of humour and outlook – well, that’ll just make the training sessions that much more fun.
Feel free to chat to our PTs if you see them around the Club. They’ll be more than happy to talk you through their teaching styles, areas of expertise and how they’ve helped members reach similar goals.
