What are the benefits of Personal Training?

Working with a Personal Trainer can be just what you need to hit new levels. Our expert coaches will create a specific programme to suit your body, level of fitness, training goals and experience. There are many benefits to working with a trainer, including:

Motivation: We get it. Some days you just don't feel like hitting the gym. And that's where a Personal Trainer can come in! With pre-scheduled 1-2-1 sessions, a clear plan to work towards and a supportive trainer by your side, you're sure to feel more motivated than ever.

Targeted training plan:: You'll also be motivated by a detailed and specific training plan that you will be encouraged to stick to. This will be tailored to your goals and needs, meaning you will spend more time hitting key areas you’re keen to work on. Your Personal Trainer will monitor and adapt your plan based on your progress.

Correct form and technique: If you’re inexperienced with certain exercises in the gym, having the expertise of a Personal Trainer on hand will help to ensure your safety and prevent injury. You’ll learn correct techniques and be introduced to new equipment that you might have overlooked before.

Personal training to achieve your goals

Personal training at David Lloyd Clubs is all about meeting your needs as an individual. Feel free to chat to all the trainers in and around the gym, or browse their profiles on our app to find a trainer to suit you – they will be more than happy to stop and talk you through their teaching style and particular areas of expertise.

You'll start your first session with a consultation which will include using our Body Hub analysis machine. It's super quick to do and gives you (and your trainer) data on everything from your hydration levels and muscle mass to weight and 'Bioage'. Alongside your Personal Trainer, you can then use those results and the targets you have in mind to set some new fitness goals and track your progress in our app.
