By getting involved, Birmingham locals will be able to access all of the studio’s classes throughout August, whilst raising funds for a great cause that aims to benefit young people in Birmingham through the work Sport 4 Life UK does. BLAZE Birmingham is part of David Lloyd Leisure, and for every person that comes into the studio and does a class, the health and fitness group will donate an additional £10 per person.

Zoe Mead, Studio Manager and Master Trainer at BLAZE Birmingham says, “It’s a privilege for Birmingham to play host to the Commonwealth Games. We wanted to celebrate that honour in a big way by encouraging local residents of all fitness abilities to get involved in exercise and nurture long-term health and wellness. We wanted to do this in the most inclusive and accessible way possible, which is why we are opening our doors for FREE for all of August. We’re honoured to be doing this in association with Sport 4 Life, which champions the ethos of using movement and sport to create a better future.”

Of the partnership, Rob Wells, Head of Business Development at Sport 4 Life UK says, “We are hugely honoured that Blaze Studio Birmingham has chosen us as their charity partner for the biggest fitness free-for-all Birmingham has ever seen! We believe in the power of sport and fitness to change young people's lives in the city and all donations to Birmingham BLAZE classes will go to creating more opportunities for local young people to create a better future for themselves. We want to give young people in Birmingham the chance to make a positive change in their lives through mentoring, guidance and practical sessions that lead to better employment opportunities through the power of sport, and your donations will directly impact that."
