Sink into our heated 14m indoor pool all year round. Or head to the 9m outdoor pool for an early morning swim as the steam rises from the warm water. And when the sun shines, simply float away in the calming water or relax on a lounger and enjoy that summer feeling. The outdoor pool is located in the Spa Garden.
Swimming is a valuable skill to develop at any time of life, which is why at David Lloyd Wickwoods we offer adult swimming lessons. Learning to swim will help you to feel comfortable around water and means you can get more from your Club membership.
Beginner classes teach water safety and basic technique in small groups, helping you feel more confident.
Improver lessons focus on increasing your swimming distance and refining techniques across various strokes.
Advanced swimmers can join Master Swim sessions, which target specific techniques with a different focus each week for continuous improvement.
Our low-impact aqua aerobics classes are a great way to build strength and fitness, make new connections in and out of the pool and breathe new life into your workouts.
Led by a trained instructor, you can expect a full-body workout that combines cardio and strength-training exercises. And you don’t need to be a strong swimmer: you’ll always be able to reach the pool floor as you jump, kick, and lunge your way through a class.
