Benefits of yoga

Yoga is a holistic form of exercise, which means it helps you take care of both your mind and your body. As well as fitness benefits - improved strength, flexibility, balance and posture - research has also linked yoga to reduced stress and enhanced mood.

Yoga classes for over-50s

A regular yoga practice can support you in other types of exercise and in your daily life, whatever age you decide to start. However, the benefits of enhanced balance and improved strength are particularly important as you move through life.

Pilates in Swansea

In addition to our yoga classes, we offer Pilates mat classes. There are similarities between these two low-impact workouts, but one of the key differences is that Pilates tends to involve small precise movement, while yoga is often more about holding postures. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core to benefit the whole body, but there's usually some flexibility work, too.
