Introducing SPIRIT
Imagine a unique session that combines yoga and Pilates, set to uplifting music. That's SPIRIT, one of our range of Signature Classes, which you can only get at David Lloyd Clubs.
SPIRIT is the ideal yoga-Pilates hybrid for anyone looking for a satisfying workout with elements of meditation. Try it at David Lloyd Peterborough.
Improve your posture, strengthen your core and enjoy the flow: a regular yoga practice can really enhance your everyday life. Our studio offers a range of classes suitable for everyone from beginners to those with plenty of yoga experience. And it's so easy for members to book a session, using the David Lloyd Clubs app.
Yoga classes at David Lloyd Peterborough are just the beginning. After you've rolled up your mat, explore our first-rate gym, enjoy a few lengths in our heated indoor pool or simply make time for more relaxation with our spa facilities. You can get some work done over a delicious coffee in our Clubroom, and try a different type of exercise class.
In addition to our yoga classes, we offer Pilates mat classes. There are similarities between these two low-impact workouts, but one of the key differences is that unlike most styles of yoga, in Pilates you sometimes use resistance equipment as well as bodyweight. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core to benefit the whole body, but there's usually some flexibility work, too.
Our classes are led by experienced yoga instructors who will guide you through every bend and stretch. They are able to adapt the sequence for every ability, so beginners can mix with even the most experienced yogis.
Yoga is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of experience.
All of our classes are led by inspiring yoga instructors who will expertly guide you through every bend and stretch. They are able to adapt postures and sequences to suit every level, so you will feel comfortable no matter where you are in your yoga journey, including as a total beginner.
Yoga is a holistic form of exercise, which means it helps you take care of both mind and body. As well as fitness benefits - improved strength, flexibility and posture - research has also linked yoga to reduced stress.
Starting a regular yoga practice can support you in other types of exercise and in your daily life, whatever age you decide to start.
We'll provide everything you need in our yoga classes, such as mats and props, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothing, and it's a good idea to have a water bottle on hand if you're doing a dynamic yoga class.
Booking is a breeze with the David Lloyd Clubs app. Simple navigate to the timetable from the home screen and select the session you want.
