We make it easy to enjoy yoga classes in our Leeds studio. Our inspiring instructors will guide you through the movements and put together the perfect flow, whatever your level. Multiple sessions throughout the week make it easy for you to choose a class based around your busy schedule.

Membership at David Lloyd Leeds

Yoga classes are just one way to take care of your well-being when you join our health club. After you've rolled up your mat, enjoy a few lengths in our heated indoor and outdoor pools or make time for relaxation with our spa facilities. Hatha yoga

One of the types of yoga we offer is Hatha. These classes aim to achieve balance between the body and the mind through the use of physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. Our Hatha sessions are designed to build mental and physical resilience, and maintain overall wellness.

Vinyasa yoga

Our Vinyasa classes provide a dynamic yoga workout, matching poses to breath with seamless movement - it's also known as 'flow yoga'. Benefits of the practice include increased mental clarity, and improved strength and balance.

Yoga classes for beginners

Yoga is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of ability.

Our experienced yoga instructors will patiently and expertly guide you through the movements. They can adapt postures and sequences to suit every level, so you'll feel comfortable no matter where you are in your yoga journey, including as a total beginner.

Yoga for over-50s

In addition to our yoga classes, we offer Pilates mat classes. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core to benefit the whole body, but there's usually some flexibility work, too.

What to bring to a yoga class at David Lloyd Leeds & how to book

We'll provide everything you need in our yoga classes, such as mats and props, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothing, and it's a good idea to have a water bottle on hand if you're doing a dynamic yoga class.

Booking is easy with the David Lloyd Clubs app. Simply navigate to the timetable from the home screen and select the session you want.
