Yoga in Kensington

We make it easy to enjoy yoga at our Kensington studio. Choose from multiple classes every week, including Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga. We also offer yoga for kids.

Our inspiring instructors will guide you through the movements and put together the perfect flow, whatever your level. Sessions at different times throughout the week make it easy for you to find classes based around your schedule.

Once you've rolled up your mat, enjoy a few lengths in our heated indoor pool or make time for relaxation with our spa facilities. Yin yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-placed class with a meditative feel. You'll mainly work with floor poses while seated or reclined.

Hatha yoga

Hatha yoga aims to achieve balance between the body and the mind through physical poses, held for longer than in most other classes, as well as breathing techniques and sun salutations.

Vinyasa yoga

A Vinyasa class provides a dynamic yoga workout, matching poses to breath with seamless movement - it's also known as 'flow yoga'. Benefits of the practice include increased mental clarity, and improved strength and balance.

Yoga for beginners

We welcome members of all abilities and experience to our yoga classes.

Sessions are led by experienced yoga instructors who will patiently and expertly guide you. They can adapt postures and sequences to suit every level, so you'll feel comfortable no matter where you are in your yoga journey, including as a total beginner.

Mat & Reformer Pilates in Kensington

As well as yoga, we have Pilates classes - both mat and Reformer. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core to benefit the whole body, but there's usually some flexibility work, too.

What to bring to a yoga class at David Lloyd Kensington & how to book

We'll provide everything you need in our yoga classes, such as mats and props, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothing, and it's a good idea to have a water bottle on hand if you're doing a dynamic yoga class. Think you might appreciate some extra grip? You can also bring your own non-slip grip socks and/or gloves.

Booking is stress-free with the David Lloyd Clubs app. Simply navigate to the timetable from the home screen and select the session you want.
