Play Padel in Leeds
Coming soon, David Lloyd Leeds is getting brand new Padel courts. Our Club is be the perfect place to play this exciting social sport. Not only do we have the highest quality facilities, but the best racquets coaches too.
Plus, Padel is included in your membership*. So once your game is over, you and your friends can relax in the Clubroom with a coffee or a bite to eat. Or, why not go and unwind in the steam room or sauna? And with our excellent gym equipment, you can also build up those Padel muscles on non-match days to really give you the advantage!
*Padel is available on a Platinum membership package, which gives you full access to racquet sports.
What is Padel?
Padel is an easier, shorter version of tennis, played on smaller courts in a squash-like enclosure. The bats are lighter and the balls are softer than tennis and it's a great low-impact cardio workout.
It's a community sport, so it's great for mental wellbeing. Often played with 4 people in rotation, you play everyone in your group then add the points up at the end to see who has won. Ask our friendly reception or racquets staff about Padel groups you can join.
Play it at your own pace. Even at its gentlest, it tests stamina, flexibility, and reaction times. As you practise and become more skilled, your game can become more challenging if you want it to.
Booking outdoor Padel courts at David Lloyd Leeds
You will be able to book one of David Lloyd Leeds' five outdoor Padel courts via the David Lloyd App for a singles or doubles match.
