Introduction to physical activity and fitness through simple games and movements

Great news, you can now get fitter, stronger and have FUN together! This session is a fun, gym based exercise session encouraging families to 'play' whilst getting fitter as a family.  Based on our gym floor FUNctional area with a dedicated Trainer, suitable for 8 years and over. Please only book this session if you and your child/children are attending together. For safety reasons there should be a maximum of 2 children per 1 adult.

LES MILLS GRIT? Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. If you are new to exercise, we recommend you speak to the instructor before the class for suitability and/or level options.

These sessions are designed for those 10-13yrs who have completed both Start up 1 and Start up 2 and are now qualified to use the gym in an Instructor supervised environment. Please note bands must be worn at all times. No band, no entry!

LES MILLS GRIT Plyo is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) plyometric-based workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. This workout uses a bench and combines explosive jumping exercises with agility training to increase explosiveness and to build a lean and athletic body.
