Hatha yoga

Hatha is a yoga practice that aims to bring balance to mind and body. It's designed to help you maintain overall health and well-being as you match breathing to postures.

Pilates classes in Finchley

As well as yoga classes, we offer Pilates mat classes. There are similarities between these two low-impact workouts, but one of the key differences is that Pilates is all about core strength, alignment and fitness, without the same holistic mind-body emphasis of yoga.

You can also enjoy Reformer Pilates sessions, which give you a supercharged muscle-lengthening and toning workout.

Our experienced yoga teachers will guide you through your practice, adjusting poses to suit your individual body and its needs. They are able to adapt the sequence for every ability, so beginners can easily mix with more experienced members in our classes.

What to bring to a yoga class at David Lloyd Finchley & how to book

We'll provide everything you need in our yoga classes, such as mats and props, but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothing, and it's a good idea to have a water bottle on hand if you're doing a dynamic yoga class. Grip gloves will give you extra non-slip security on the mat.
