Introducing SPIRIT
In addition to our yoga and Pilates classes, we're also delighted to bring you SPIRIT. This is a boutique-style class, designed exclusively for David Lloyd Clubs, which combines elements of yoga and Pilates. Set to music, this session will uplift and inspire you. We also have a SPIRIT meditation class, where you can unwind within a magical sound bath.
Our yoga classes are open to members of all abilities and levels of experience, including total beginners, as our instructors adapt movements and poses. The benefits of taking up yoga are well documented, from building core strength to improving your balance. A regular practice can support you both in other types of exercise and in your daily life.
We offer mat and Reformer Pilates at David Lloyd Cricklewood Lane. There are similarities between yoga and Pilates, but one of the key differences is that unlike most styles of yoga, in Pilates you sometimes use resistance equipment as well as bodyweight. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core, although it does include some flexibility work. For members who are new to Reformer Pilates sessions, we offer taster classes.
Our yoga and Pilates classes are led by experienced instructors who will guide and inspire you through every bend and stretch. They are on hand to help you whenever you may need it.
