Understand your body better

As well as lots of amazing equipment, the gym at Colchester features the unique Boditrax system.

It’s a new piece of kit that lets you measure your body really accurately, and is completely free to use. In no time at all, it gives you 14 key statistics, including your BMI and ideal weight, your muscle mass and fat mass, and even your metabolic age. You can get a free review of these results with one of our Personal Trainers and they’ll help you set goals and track your progress so you’ll know exactly how you’re getting on.

We’re creating a completely new gym concept here at Colchester, integrating every type of exercise into a friendly, open-plan layout. The gym is divided into specialised zones, including areas dedicated to stretching and cardio, with some really exciting equipment like Woodway Curve treadmills and Wattbikes.

One of our zones will be for our functional training equipment, including our SYNRGY360 ‘playground’. Use the SYNRGY equipment to create your own routine, or give one of our fast classes a try, run by our expert Personal Trainers, they’ll get you results, super-fast. And with so much equipment, you won’t have to wait for machines – and there will always be something new to try!
