We’re excited that our Clubs across the UK are now open.

With indoor and outdoor fitness facilities available to make the most of, our spacious Clubs have everything you need to relax, socialise and re-energise.

Whether it’s a workout in the gym, a motivational group exercise class, the fresh feeling of that first length in the pool, or simply a space to relax where you can get away from the outside world, it’s all here for you to enjoy.

Since reopening, our members have rated us 4.5 out of 5 for safety and wellbeing.

"The team are working so hard to ensure the club is a
safe and clean environment, but still a fun place to visit.
I hadn’t realised how much I missed the gym until I returned."

Swimming

Our pools allow you to enjoy a few lengths or some time in the pool with the family whatever the weather. Relax and cool down with a quick dip or enjoy an invigorating training session.

We've put measures in place to ensure your return to the water is a safe one. We're limiting the number of swimmers per lane (dependent on the length of the pool) and are asking swimmers to swim at 5 metre intervals to ensure they can keep a safe distance between themselves and others.

We've also reintroduced a number of swimming lessons, with reduced capacities and at least a 10 minute gap between sessions to prevent any gathering or waiting around in groups.

Kids classes

We've got lots of ways to help kids stay healthy and active, with classes running indoors and outdoors.

Kids aged 3-11 can take part in our exciting range of DL Kids classes, including Action Squad, Sports Squad and Scooter Squad sessions - all of which have been adapted so they can be done safely and with adequate social distancing. Where possible we’re running our DL Kids classes in the usual DL Kids studios. We’re also using our sports halls, badminton and tennis courts, studios and outdoor areas to make sure that each child has enough space.

Each child will be given their own space to work in, as well as individual equipment to allow them to maintain a safe social distance and prevent any risk of cross contamination.

Our creche facilities have also reopened in England Scotland and Wales, and sessions are bookable for one or two hours, per day, per child.

Tennis courts

Enjoy a game on our match-quality indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

Courts are available for members aged 5 and above, so whether you're a racquets lover or new to the sport, you can enjoy a game of singles or doubles either indoors or out in the open air.

To make sure you stay safe, courts must be booked in advance, and we've set aside 10 minutes between bookings to allow staff to clean all touchpoints and ready the court for the next players. And if racquet sports are really your thing, you can make the most of our premium squash and badminton courts too.

Safety & Social Distancing

The safety of our teams and members is our number one priority, and while things might look a little different, our clubs continue to provide a premium health and fitness experience. We are incorporating extensive cleaning protocols and social distancing practices throughout our clubs. Key measures include:

  • Limiting the number of members in certain areas of the club.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are located in reception and throughout the club.
  • Using a viricidal disinfectant cleaning solution, proven to kill enveloped viruses within 60 seconds.
  • Enhanced cleaning schedules to maintain high level of hygiene, particularly across high contact points in the club.
  • Reduced class occupancy to allow for social distancing.
  • Team members are sanitising equipment after every class.
  • More space has been created in the gym and additional gym spaces introduced at most clubs so you can exercise at a safe distance.
  • We have installed thermal imaging camera technology in some of our clubs.
