Gym facilities

Get back into your routine with the return of our state-of-the-art gym facilities, with all the space and equipment you need to enjoy a varied and challenging workout.

Whether you've been yearning for a return to your favourite cardio machines, desperate to get back to a huge range of free weights, or keen to pick up where you left off with our functional training equipment - we have everything you need and more in our spacious gyms. We're also offering socially distanced Personal Training sessions so you can enjoy the added benefits of training face to face under the guidance of our experts.

We have also installed additional, temporary gym space at most of our clubs, so you won't have to wait to use your favourite piece of equipment.

Plus, with reduced capacity, social distancing measures such as increased spacing between all equipment, new sanitisation stations and constant cleaning, our gyms provide the quality environment you need to work out both safely and efficiently.

Fitness Classes

Our varied programme of fitness classes is back, bringing you daily holistic, group cycling, strength and conditioning, cardio and HIIT classes in our spacious, dedicated studios.

If you thrive on the extra motivation you get by working out in a group, our brilliant range of classes means you'll find a session that suits you, with everything from Group Cycling and Blaze, to Battlebox and yoga.

In Tier 3 areas where we are unable to resume indoor fitness classes, we will be taking some of our most popular classes outdoors into heated marquees, so you can enjoy a group workout in the open air.

And you can rest assured we're doing all we can to keep you safe. We're limiting class sizes based on government guidelines and scheduling our timetable to give ample time between classes for our thorough cleaning procedures. High Impact and Mind & Body studios have areas marked out to indicate where participants should stand, so you can maintain a safe distance.

Swimming

Our indoor and outdoor pools allow you to enjoy a few lengths or some time in the pool with the family whatever the weather. Relax and cool down with a quick dip, enjoy an invigorating training session or sit back and relax in our poolside spa facilities.

We've put measures in place to ensure your return to the water is a safe one. We're limiting the number of swimmers per lane (dependent on the length of the pool) and are asking swimmers to swim at 5 metre intervals to ensure they can keep a safe distance between themselves and others. We're also wiping down sun loungers after each member has used them.

We've also reintroduced a limited number of swimming lessons, with reduced capacities and at least a 10 minute gap between sessions to prevent any gathering or waiting around in groups.

Kids classes

We've got lots of ways to help kids stay healthy and active, with classes running indoors and outdoors.

Kids aged 3-11 can take part in our exciting range of DL Kids classes, including Action Squad, Sports Squad and Scooter Squad sessions - all of which have been adapted so they can be done safely and with adequate social distancing. Each child will be given their own space to work in, as well as individual equipment to allow them to maintain a safe social distance and prevent any risk of cross contamination. We'll also sanitise all equipment before and after each class to give you that extra peace of mind. Plus, these hour-long classes run alongside our group exercise sessions so you can enjoy a workout of your own while the little ones let off some steam.

Our creche facilities have also reopened, and sessions are bookable for one hour, per day, per child.

Tennis courts

We're delighted that our match-quality indoor and outdoor tennis courts are now open, so you can get back on court and enjoy a game. Our premium squash and badminton courts are open too.

Courts are available for members aged 5 and above. Outdoor courts can be booked as normal for singles and doubles play. In Tier 2 areas, indoor courts are available for singles play, while in Tier 3 areas, indoor courts can be used by members from the same household or bubble.

Spa

Our spas are now open, offering members the perfect place to take care of mind and body. After what has been a stressful time for so many, our spa facilities give you the opportunity to enjoy some peace and tranquility and find some all-important headspace.

With everything from spacious saunas to serene Spa Gardens, it's easy to while away the hours. Spend time soothing the skin in our stunning heat rooms, luxuriate in our beautiful whirlpools or simply lie back and relax on a comfortable heated bed.

And of course, we’ve put measures in place to make sure you can relax in a safe environment. We're limiting the number of people in each area of the spa to maintain social distancing and all touchpoints and surfaces are being cleaned thoroughly and frequently.

Eat, work & socialise

At Clubs in Tier 2, you can enjoy lots of your favourite dishes from our main menu, including our popular smashed avocado, tasty Halloumi Heaven burger and the high-protein chicken fajita salad. Plus, if you fancy a change of scene, our spacious Clubrooms are a perfect alternative to working from home, with fast Wi-Fi and comfortable seating providing a great environment to get on with some work. And of course, we're ensuring social distancing is maintained at all times.

All of our clubs, including those in Tier 3, have a wide range of grab-and-go items available via a takeaway service. Favourites such as fresh rolled sushi, bento boxes and flavour-filled wraps, as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks are available to takeaway, so you can still refuel after a workout.

Safety & Social Distancing

The safety of our teams and members is our number one priority, and while things might look a little different, our clubs continue to provide a premium health and fitness experience. We are incorporating extensive cleaning protocols and social distancing practices throughout our clubs. Key measures include:

  • Limiting the number of members in certain areas of the club.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are located in reception and throughout the club.
  • Using a viricidal disinfectant cleaning solution, proven to kill enveloped viruses within 60 seconds.
  • Enhanced cleaning schedules to maintain high level of hygiene, particularly across high contact points in the club.
  • Reduced class occupancy to allow for social distancing.
  • Team members are sanitising equipment after every class.
  • More space has been created in the gym and additional gym spaces introduced at most clubs so you can exercise at a safe distance.
  • We now have a concierge to greet members, ask them to sanitise their hands and help familiarise them with their new-look club.
  • We have installedthermal imaging camera technology in some of our clubs.
