Yoga is a combination of postures, breathing practices, deep relaxation, and meditation. These sessions concentrate on bringing balance and harmony to both body and mind. They can help to boost the immune system, encourage relaxation and correct posture alignment.

Introduction to yoga

This beginners class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Gradually these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence. If you have never tried yoga this is the class for you, designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.

Vinyasa Yoga

In Vinyasa Yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Commonly referred to as ‘Flow Yoga’, Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are the same.

Ashtanga Yoga

A yoga class with eight components: morality, ethics, posture, breath control, sense control, concentration, meditation and absorption. An intense yoga workout.

Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga is concerned with bodily alignment - the precise way in which your body should be positioned in each pose in order to obtain the maximum benefits and avoid injury. Poses are typically held for longer periods versus moving quickly from one pose to the next. This form of yoga is known for its use of props - including belts, blocks, and blankets - as aids in performing postures and characterised by great attention to detail.

Yoga classes for all ages and ability

Yoga is gentle in nature and for that reason is open to anyone. Whether you are a beginner or master anyone can attend. We also take pregnant women in our classes as it is a great way to de-stress, although we advise you ask your doctor first.

Our classes are led by experienced yoga instructors who will guide you through your practice. They are able to adapt poses for every ability, so everyone from beginners through to advanced students, feels comfortable and engaged in their practice.
