David Lloyd Sunderland is situated close to the A19 and A1 on Doxford International Business Park with easy access. We are also close to Sunderland city centre and the historic city of Durham, both of which are a short journey away. You'll find a warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere and a fabulous range of facilities run by the most passionate people in the industry.  

Our heated outdoor pool is one of our favourite spots in the club, plus it’s one of the only outdoor pools in the area. Surrounded by trees, our members love relaxing on the loungers and soaking up the sun. It’s not all about swimming though - our gym has recently been reconfigured and is now packed with the very latest equipment for you to workout with. We also have an outstanding reputation for our tennis facilities and development programmes for both adults and children. If like us you love working out with other people, then you have to try our group exercise classes, full of fun and energy our brilliant instructors will have you working up a sweat in no time.

If you’re looking for something for the whole family to enjoy, look no further. Our fully qualified DL Kids team are on hand to keep the kids entertained with games or arts and crafts whilst you enjoy a workout in the gym or a dip in the pool. Plus our activity room is always a hit with kids, full of fun activities for after school, so they’ll never get bored. Or why don't you play a game of tennis together and then relax and enjoy a family meal in our DLicious cafebar? Comfortable and spacious, it will be a great place to catch up with friends over tea and cake or get the whole family together to enjoy something from our tasty DLicious menu.
