Yin yoga

One of the sessions we offer is Yin yoga. This is slower-paced, meaning you’ll hold postures for longer periods of time in Yin than other yoga classes. With a greater focus on meditation and reflection, you’ll leave feeling relaxed and revitalised.

As well as yoga classes, we offer Pilates mat classes. Pilates focuses on strengthening the core to benefit the whole body, and there's usually some flexibility work, too.

What to bring to a yoga class at David Lloyd Southend & how to book

Wear comfortable clothing for our yoga classes, and bring a water bottle if you're doing a dynamic session. A pair of grip gloves and/or socks can help you feel extra-secure. We have everything else you need, such as yoga mats and props, but feel free to use your own mat if you prefer.
