Discover a new group class

If you find you get tired of the same workouts, week in week out, then look no further. With three group exercise studios, and more than 100 classes every single week, there’s so much going on here. Our High Intensity studio runs all sorts of high energy training, including BODYPUMP™ and Bootcamp, while our group cycling studio has lots of instructor led classes for you to try, and our Mind & Body studio has lots of holistic classes, including yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. And, we’re the only club in the area to offer Fight Klub® sessions – it’s a group class where you learn a mixture of boxing and kick boxing moves. You’ll love getting some aggression out on the punch bags!

Group Exercise at Southend

Group classes are super popular with our members here at David Lloyd Southend – and with more than 100 classes each week, we offer lots of variety. Plus, with classes running between 6.30am and 9.30pm most days, there should always be something you can try. Our brilliant instructors are great at getting everyone working hard and having fun – plus, if you’re new to group exercise and tell them at the start, they’ll be sure to give you some extra help. And, it’s not all about group exercise in our studios – our Level 2 Triathlon coach runs sessions that our members love. As well as those, we have a great running club and walking club. With so much to get involved with, come and try us out!
