Yoga

Yoga includes physical postures or ‘asanas’, breathing techniques and meditation. Our yoga classes will help to create balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is not only meditative but also physically challenging. You’ll focus on correct breath control to create a seamless flow of postures.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga aims to achieve balance between the body and the mind through the use of physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. Hatha is the traditional Indian name used to describe a set of practices that are intended to prevent physical problems, heal existing ones and maintain overall health and wellbeing.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga is a fast-paced, intense style of yoga where a set series of poses is performed, always in the same order. Physically demanding due to the constant movement from one pose to the next, expect an intense workout.

Iyengar Yoga

This form of yoga is known for its use of props - including belts, blocks, and blankets - as aids in performing postures and characterised by great attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment. We recommend this class for members that are experienced in yoga practice.

Yin Yoga

A slower paced class, you’ll hold postures for longer periods of time than other classes. With a greater focus on meditation and reflection, you’ll leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Broga®

Broga® is slightly more challenging as it simultaneously incorporates traditional yoga to significantly open up tight areas like shoulders, hips and hamstrings. Expect a high energy upper or lower body session that will strengthen and tone your body in new ways, but also leave you feeling more mobile and flexible than ever before.

F.I.T. Yoga (10-15 years)

This 'Fitness Into Teens (F.I.T)' Yoga class is for 13-15-year olds who want to get active, maintaining flexibility, posture and getting some much needed 'time out'
