Vinyasa Yoga classes link physical postures with the breath, incorporating sun salutations and standing and balancing postures. Movement is linked with inhalations and exhalations to form a smooth and rhythmic sequence.
Hatha Yoga aims to achieve balance between the body and the mind through the use of physical poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. Hatha is the traditional Indian name used to describe a set of practices that are intended to prevent physical problems, heal existing ones and maintain overall health and wellbeing.
Yoga is gentle in nature and for that reason is open to anyone. Whether you are new to practice, or an advanced student, anyone can attend. We also take pregnant women in our classes as it is a great way to de-stress, although we advise you ask your doctor first.
