Improve your flexibility, build strength and relax with yoga at Exeter. These sessions concentrate on bringing balance and harmony to both body and mind, through postures and breathing.
Led by an on-screen instructor, these sessions will help you to improve your flexibility, build strength and de-stress.
Vinyasa Yoga is not only meditative but also physically challenging. While focusing on the breath, students will coordinate movement to flow from one pose to the next.
Hatha is a slower-paced and gentle form of yoga that provides a good introduction to the basic yoga poses. Hatha is the traditional Indian name used to describe a set of practices that are intended to prevent physical problems, heal existing ones and maintain overall health and wellbeing.
Broga® is high energy upper, lower or whole body session that will strengthen and tone your body in new ways, but also leave you feeling more mobile and flexible than ever before. Slightly more challenging, it simultaneously incorporates traditional yoga to significantly open up tight areas like shoulders, hips and hamstrings.
Led by an on-screen instructor, this class is similar to a regular Broga® class. Expect a high energy upper, lower or whole body session that will improve flexibility as well as strength.
Led by an on-screen instructor, Yoga Calm will help to bring peace, calm and clarity in the body and mind. This gentle class will guide you through body 'opening' poses, loosening tension and relieving stress. Moving at a slower pace and holding stretches longer will allow you to relax your mind and your body.
This is session is led by an on screen instructor to help you improve in your chosen sport- bringing strength, flexibility, balance and harmony to both body and mind, through postures and breathing. This session can also encourage relaxation and correct posture alignment and enhance the feeling of wellbeing.
This class is a video lead by an on screen instructor. This beginners class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Gradually these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence. If you have never tried yoga this is the class for you, designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.
This class is a video lead by an on screen instructor. Energize Yoga is a challenging class of consistent poses in flowing transition with a focus on core strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and an overall sense of well-being. The class will build upon basic yoga poses to target specific muscle groups while maintaining safe alignment to reduce the risk of injury. This class builds strength and balance physically and mentally, and leaves you feeling energized.
This is session is led by an on screen instructor to help you improve your running- bringing strength, flexibility, balance and harmony to both body and mind, through postures and breathing. This session can also encourage relaxation and correct posture alignment and enhance the feeling of wellbeing.
Our yoga classes are open to anyone: old or young, injured, fit or unfit, supple or inflexible, male or female. Whether you are a beginner or master anyone can attend.
