David Lloyd have developed Yoga Moves exclusively for their members. It is a fitness based yoga class which is perfect if you have never tried Yoga before. The classes have been designed specifically to improve muscle tone and to de-stress you using simple poses that increase your heart rate. Yoga Moves is perfect for all levels, and focuses on technique rather than the spiritual aspects of yoga.

Hatha

Perfect for beginners or people with injuries, Hatha focuses on gentle stretches and basic yoga poses. Meditation and relaxation techniques are also incorporated.

Ashtanga

If you want a more intense workout Ashtanga is for you. Flow through a series of poses designed to get your heart pumping and test your concentration.

Vinyasa

All poses in this class are based on an inhale or exhale movement. Poses run smoothly together in a dance-like flow. This style allows for lots of variety and you can expect movement not just stretching.

Anusara

A fun and light-hearted form of yoga based on the philosophy that all beings are intrinsically good. Expect some heart-opening poses like back-bending which is made easier by the use of props.

Lyengar

Align your body to the sun using props such as blocks, straps and blankets. This is a great class to learn more about your own body and to perfect the basic yoga poses.
