• Is David Lloyd still involved with/own the organisation?

Mr David Lloyd is no longer involved in the business however his son, Scott Lloyd, is chief executive

• Does David Lloyd Leisure operate in any other countries?

We have 79 Clubs in the UK and a further 10 in mainland Europe including Amsterdam, Brussels, Barcelona and Dublin.

• Why is there still one Next Generation club in the Group?

We operate two clubs in Swindon and one of these remains branded Next Generation – we test many of our new concepts at this Club.

• Does David Lloyd Leisure support any charities?

Our nominated charity is Wellchild and we also support the Change for Climate Change campaign through The David Lloyd Leisure Lefini Project.

• Which celebrities are members of David Lloyd Leisure ?

A number of celebrities are members of our Clubs across the UK, including a range of sports men and women, top chefs, actors and television presenters, amongst others.

• Are you a member of the FIA?

Yes we are actively involved in the Fitness Industry Association –Scott Lloyd is on the FIA board.

• Which professional bodies are you affiliated with?

We work closely with the Lawn Tennis Association, the Amateur Swimming Association and REPS (Register of Exercise Professionals)
