Padel Tennis

In January 2012 we launched padel tennis – a racquet sport played throughout Latin America and Spain – by installing 3 brand new padel courts at Chigwell.

Padel tennis is simple to pick up and much easier to play than traditional tennis. But if you're wondering what it's all about, we've created an infographic that explains everything:

Quite interesting. I do not know exactly what to say, but at least I want to thank you :)

I do hope this idea is in addition to traditional tennis rather than instead of as it would be a travesty to reduce the number of proper tennis courts available to members for something that many members will not want to play as they want to play tennis not pitter pat akin to beach bat and ball.

I am a tennis player since i was 10 years old. I have been playing padel for the last two years and everytime i play I have so much fun! So relax and so easy to pick up! Anyone at any age can play and you don't need to be a tennis player or even very fit to have a good time with friends while you are finishing a complete match!!! I recommend it to anyone who wants to get fit and have fun quick and easy. There are times for different stages of fitness in life and padel fits in very well to all fitness stages. Extremely popular female sport and very sociable. Tournaments can be so easy to plan and very competitive.
