To help you hit the ground running, choose from our range of 11 taster sessions with our highly qualified exercise and fitness trainers at one of our gyms. They will work with you to ensure you get the absolute most from your membership.
PT test drive
Enjoy 30 minutes free, one to one with a friendly REPs 3 qualified personal trainer. They will show you how individual coaching in the gym can get you the fitness and exercise results you want, as fast as possible. They will also help you map out your fitness and exercise goals and develop a unique, personalized gym programme to help you reach them.
Personalise your exercise
One of our skilled fitness trainers will develop a custom-made exercise and fitness programme, so you can get the best out of our amazing gyms and cutting-edge exercise facilities.
Express workout
If your hectic schedule doesn't leave you with much time to spend at the gym, your fitness needn't suffer. Our express workout will help you make the most of your precious time while boosting your fitness. Make the most of our great gym facilities and get results fast with one of these fun workouts. Choose from fab abs, beach body, hips bums and thighs, cardio conditioning or tennis.
Training clubs
Our group coaching sessions are run by qualified personal trainers and are an excellent way to get exercise, make new friends and improve your fitness. Choose from a wide range of clubs such as running fit, swim fit, tennis fit, ski fit, golf fit or back care fit. Whatever the exercise, there's a training club for it.
Weight loss taster
Want to lose a few pounds? Then try the first session of this 12 week course free. Join in the lively sessions at one of our gyms with group exercise classes, weekly weigh-ins and plenty of nutrition advice. Improve your fitness and health as the pounds drop off and stay off.
Racquet sports welcome
At David Lloyd, racquet sports are never far away. From beginner to expert, come along and join in tennis, badminton or squash. It's excellent exercise for enhanced fitness and great fun too. Just turn up and play for the exercise you'll love and fitness you'll appreciate or join us for one of our many competitive events and social games.
Group exercise welcome
Exercise is always more fun in a group. Come along to this informal chat and find out about all the exciting classes we run. Hosted by our group exercise coordinator, this no-pressure introduction will help you find the right exercise and your best way to fitness.
Triple taster
Find out what gives you a buzz in this brilliant triple-taster exercise class. Enjoy 20 minutes each of aerobic activity, conditioning exercises and holistic exercise. You'll be able to see which exercise is right for you and which route to fitness suits your individual personality.
Best of 7
If you relish a fitness challenge, then best of 7 is for you. Try 7 different group exercise and fitness activities to see which is perfect for your own exercise needs and goals. As some extra motivation, complete all 7 and you will be given a free personal training session. There's Keiser cycling, training clubs, RPM and many more to choose from.
Swim to trim
Swimming is a fantastic low-impact exercise, giving stunning improvements in fitness while working all the major muscle groups. Choose from 4 experience levels to help you swim off the pounds or increase your fitness.
Family welcome
Why not exercise and improve your fitness as a family? On this taster you'll meet other families and see all the activities kids can do at your local David Lloyd club. Come and meet our tennis, swimming and High 5 Club team leaders too. It's a great way for your family to spend quality time together while being active and increasing your fitness.
