David Lloyd Speke is located on the old Liverpool Airport site in an aircraft hanger that has been converted into one of the most comprehensive racquets, sports and health & fitness clubs in the UK. Head towards the airport in South Liverpool and we're situated in the New Mersey Retail Park. View Map

Our fabulous gym

Our fully air conditioned gym offers a fantastic range of the latest exercise, cardiovascular machines and a large free weight area. We've recently under gone a major gym refurbishment with new plasma screens and equipment upgrade which includes the next generation in gym equipment like the Power Plates and Treadclimbers.

Swimming pools, spa and racquet facilities

At David Lloyd Speke, our tennis and racquet facilities are second to none. We have a total of 12 tennis courts, 4 badminton courts in the sports hall and 3 squash courts for all your racquet needs.

Our members can also take advantage of our indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools including a dedicated children's splash pool for our younger members. At David Lloyd Speke we know that our relaxation facilities are just as important as our gym, which is why we have a fantastic a sauna, whirlpool and steam room; perfect for winding down after your day. We run over 65 group exercise classes every week with a huge range of activities like the high energy, dance and holistic. We also have fully inclusive kids programmes that run 7 days a week.

We're always looking for new ways to make exercise fun and with everything from group exercise classes, tennis nights and swimming for all ages.

We love kids and families

Our members praise us for having a great family atmosphere and a club that caters to all ages. The social calendar is always full at David LLoyd Speke with monthly social activities in our lounge for adults and families alike. We also have regular tennis tournaments and fundraisers.

Our sportsman's dinners are always popular with a host of famous sporting guest speakers and comedians with that natural Liverpool wit!

Our LTA endorsed tennis coaches and our specialist qualified squash coaches can assess and monitor your standard, boost your development and help you find appropriate playing partners. Individual coaching, weekly training sessions and club nights ensure that you get the coaching and professional support you need to maximise your game. So whether you just learning to play or developing your skills our highly qualified professionals will ensure you get results.

Our younger players will benefit from our Junior Group Coaching sessions delivered by our LTA endorsed Junior Racquet Professionals. Our LTA endorsed All Stars Tennis Programme is a high quality, progressive tennis skill, development, fun, fitness and social interaction for children aged 3-12 years.
