JUKARI Fit to Flex

JUKARI Fit to Flex is an exclusive class for David Lloyd Leisure members. Created by Reebok and Cirque du Soleil, specially designed to improve your flexibility by increasing joint mobility and stability while boosting muscle endurance and core strength in a new, dynamic way.

Classes start this July, look out for further details in club.

 

ViPR

Vitality, performance and re-conditioning.

ViPR is a new course to David Lloyd Leisure. It is a virtually indestructible tube that can be used for hundreds of different exercises and by all abilities.

They are more flexible than traditional fixed and free weights and you will really feel the benefit in every day life activities from carrying bags of shopping to sports-specific strength needs.

Holiday Active

Every school holiday we run our ever more popular Holiday Active day camps. Choose half day or full day options and know that your children are being well looked after and entertained at the Club.

The full and half day programmes include sporting activities with outdoor play, swimming and "make and create".

Ages from 5 to 11 are catered for and we split those ages into two further groups to ensure we appeal to the right age.

We ask that you pre-book and pre-pay for every session as we need to be mindful of our staff-to-child ratios. We are not able to take drop-ins on the day unless there is availability.

Under the new management of Kelly, our DL Kids and Crèche continue to go from strength to strength.

Big Group Exercise Launch - 10th July

Some of you will remember that last summer we enjoyed the launch of the Combat and Pump releases on the outdoor tennis courts.

We will do the same again this summer and also include the new Fit to Flex class.

As well as Fit to Flex - a strength and conditioning class using stretch bands - we will repeat the Combat and Pump and also throw in some Body Jam, as it is always so popular. This Jam will be for all the family, so drag the children along too - they will love it.

Demonstrations of Capoeira - the Brazilian martial art - will also feature, with a barbecue, music and fun all day.

You will need to book onto the events, and booking sheets will be on Reception nearer the time.

Just book the date in your diary now.

Becky takes on Lose and Shape Up

Becky is now our Lose and Shape Up champion and will be running FREE seminars in the Clubroom on Monday evenings at 7.30pm and Wednesdays at 9.30am.

Free nutritional advice will be given and top tips on how to get the best results from your exercise regime.

Did you know that by starting with resistance training, followed by interval cardio training, you will have a seventy-two hour post-exercise fat burn?

And 80% of weight loss is down to diet alone, so combine the two and you WILL see your shape improve.
