Quiz Night Still Going Strong

Mary has now settled into her role as quizmaster and we are having some really close contests.

Don't miss out on our next quiz, which takes place on 28th May, and then the last Monday of the month after that, starting at 8.15pm. We look forward to seeing you in the Clubroom!

Free Meeting Room Hire

Looking for a meeting room venue? Why not use our fabulous Henman Suite, which can hold up to thirty delegates? No room hire charge will be incurred as long as one of our tailor-made catering packages is included.

Prices start from £14 per delegate, which includes morning refreshments, hot and cold buffet lunch and afternoon refreshments.

Fancy Mixing Business with Pleasure?

A new breakfast business networking group has started meeting in the Clubroom, fortnightly on Tuesday mornings. This is a simple way of creating business referrals whilst also relaxing in the fantastic environment of your own Club.

The cost to attend these meetings is only £10 per person, for which you can enjoy tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereals and a selection of sausage and bacon sandwiches.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 8th May and fortnightly from then on.

The Book Fayre Returns

The Book People are back in the Clubroom again on Friday 4th May.

Why not come in, relax, and unwind with a coffee whilst you browse over some of the best titles at hugely discounted prices. Grab your bargains between 10am and 2pm.

Cup Final Fever

The atmosphere in the Clubroom was immense for the semi-final of the FA Cup. Come along to the Clubroom again to watch Liverpool take on Chelsea in this year's Final.

The match kicks off at 5.15pm, but be early as it's going to be a cracker. Look out for food and drink promotions!

Family Parking Bays

The family parking bays are for Members who are accompanied by children under the age of twelve.

Please help the Club maintain its family-friendly environment by not parking in the Family Bays in the car park unless you are entitled to do so.

We have a large number of Members who require a Family Bay and they cannot all get one. This is mainly because Adult Members unaccompanied by children are using the bays to park. We have over 180 spaces available in the main car park.

Please be aware that Members have had their Membership cancelled for repeated parking offences.

We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Meet the Fitness Team

Come along and meet the Fitness team on 14th May at 5pm in the Clubroom.

We will be doing body fat testing, fitness tests, wellness evaluations, going over ViPR™, kettlebells, and lots more.

Holiday Active

A great time was had by all over the Easter break, and we are now taking priority bookings for June and the summer holidays.

If your child would like to take part, take advantage of our early booking, as spaces are limited.

Holiday Active is our DL Kids holiday camp for 5-11 year-olds.

At Holiday Active, children can come along and have fun whilst playing games and enjoying activities. We follow a structured day which includes playing tennis, football, basketball and playground games. We also have relay races and spend time playing with the parachute.

Included in the day are snacks and lunch as well as swimming each afternoon – so be sure to pack a swimming costume and towel. Make and Create is also an activity that the children enjoy taking part in: sticking and cutting to make fantastic pictures to put up on the fridge!

Car Valeting

Car valeting returns to David Lloyd Speke.

A full car valeting service is now available in the car park.

Simply drop your car off before you enter the Club and by the time you have finished your class or activity it will be squeaky clean and ready to go.

The valeting team will be located in the car park outside the Crèche area at the front of the Club.
